They wrote this to me in response to my email complaint: "Sometimes service companies may use various contacts for supplying Whirlpool repair parts. It would be nice if they'd start by picking up their unfixable, defective washer. I will be contacting my state's consumer affairs department soon, if I'm unable to get some sort of relief from Whirlpool. This is shocking for a company considered the top home appliance manufacturer on the planet. But for more than three weeks now since the last time Ken's Appliance Service came to my house, you've been unable to reach them ? Yet, when I call Ken's Appliance Service they promptly pick up the phone? This stuff is straight out of a Night Shyamalan's horror film. They've attempted to repair my washer, in phone concert with your own technicians. Really ? You've sent them to my house multiple times, over 4 months. « We are trying to reach Ken's Appliance Service « When I call Whirlpool Service, I'm often subjected to a tone- deaf dialogue with an automaton who has no info, no clue what is going on, and has to constantly get off the phone to, seemingly, get instructions as to what to say. Yet, to this day, no resolution from Whirlpool. Ken's Appliance Service has not been able to repair my washer in four+months. After multiple attempts to repair my washer, involving multiple parts replacement, this saga is still unfolding. Whirlpool contracted Ken's Appliance Service to repair my washer. Thus began a still on-going, 4 months nightmare. They asked me to contact Whirlpool Service. Went back to Lowe's for an exchange under the manufacturer's warranty. Fancy machine with see -through glass top and removable spinner.Three months later, in February 2023, the machine started producing a high decibel, ear-piercing, screeching noise and then it stopped working. Since all three compressor pins have 7 ohms, and no winding shorts, I suspect the compressor is not the problem.While Whirlpool's troubleshooting website says the mainboard is seldom the problem, my suspecitions are it is defective in this case.I bought a brand new Whirlpool washer at Lowe's in November 2022 at a cost of nearly a $1,000.

Voltage Readings Supply to inverter Main Power = 120VAC Control Power= 0 VDCCompressor Readings without power applied 7 Ohms across all three pins No Dead short from any pin to groundI do not have a service manual, so I don't know what the spec reading should be, but it seems that the control voltage from the main board to the inverter is only 3 volts in cooling mode - is this enough to get the compressor working properly? In diagnostic mode, the compressor should be turning at full speed 4500 rpm, but instead the it stops completely because the main board to inverter control voltage goes to zero. Voltages Readings Main Board P7 pins 2,3 = 3.3 VDC 3,8= 6.1 VDC Supply to Inverter Main Power =120VAC Control Power = 3.1 VDCIn Diagnostic Mode The test all check out except #5 (Compressor) =2 The compressor stops running completely.
The coils are clean, the lights and both fans are running.
The line even gets slightly cool to the touch. In Cooling Mode: The compressor gets warm and makes a slight noise as if it's running. Whirlpool Refrigerator Model GC3SHEXBN03 PROBLEM: Refrigerator and Freezer not cooling.
